Description

HUSØYBASE AS is an industrial offshore base. It contains facilities and equipment that is suitable for several different establishments. As part of the old Elf Offshore Base it's build for the needs in the offshore industry.

Husøybase is located in the largest industrial area in Haugalandet. The central harbour is under re-building. It lies in the middle of Karmsundet with a deep-sea berth and is connected to the main roads in all directions.

The airport is only 5 minutes from the location.

Avaldsnes Church with its Historical Centre and Visnes Museum with the spectacular "Fransahagen" is also very close. To the centre of Haugesund it is only 10 minutes drive.

The Husøy Base contains five sections:

o Office section with different facilities, 600 m2

 

o Concrete hall with 12 ton bridge crane and floor heating from water.

 

o Steal-hall with 20 ton bridge crane, 420 m2

 

o Shelter with wardrobes, 160 m2

 

o Drilled well down to 320 meter with drilling rig which is connected to the premises for testing of equipment and training.

 

The Base has its own IT and telephone exchange with fibre cable to the building in
addition to broad band.

The outdoor facilities are spacious, with its own seaboard to the deep-sea berth.

HusøyBase has approved plans for expansion that can be done immediately.
